Day 10 -Wednesday already!

The middle of the week already; actually time is going rather quickly. Deb had her daily radiation treatment today in the afternoon, and Lizz took her to the hospital. All went well with no difficulty whatsoever, and this is good.
I met with a dear friend after work today, who fabricated a gorgeous necklace for Deb, silver and peridot. The significance is stellar as the stones are very feminine (green in color) and support healing. Some information indicates that these stones work for the area of childbirth, and isn't that perfect? Jane, the artist made the links of silver with five large stones to represent the chemo days; the 25 other Peridot stones signify the radiation visits.
We both think that aside from the incredible beauty of this piece, that the significance and detail paid is awesome. Perhaps I can take a photo and post it for you all to see. I suspect that Deb will wear the piece for chemo days and on our cruise too.

An early evening is in store; no side affects so far and a nice gentle day it seems.
We are very conscious of each day as Deb says, each one is a gift, isn't that the truth?

Great to hear from all of you and thanks for all your collective kindness. Keep those cards and letters coming.
